John and Chris
As
I look around at the sad
state of the Forty Niners, it becomes clear that the current ownership,
led by Doctor John (no show) York, no longer resembles a winning
organization. It is a sad fact that they
resemble the Golden
State Warriors and that half minded owner Chris (huh?) Cohan.
So
let’s look at Cohan….
Under
Cohan, Golden State
has been much more successful at the cash register than on the court.
The
Warriors have missed the playoffs for an NBA-worst 10 straight seasons,
and
with just four games into the 2005-05 season look real bad.
You
can not tell me that
Cohan cares about winning because he doesn’t. Ten
straight years of not making the playoffs is proof.
For many reasons, I am disgusted with the
Warriors franchise,
having watched over the last few years as a once proud, once
entertaining
mainstay of Bay Area sports has been reduced to an embarrassing pile of
rubbish.
And
that is what I fear will
happen to the Forty Niners with John (where is John?) York continues in the ownership position.
John….
Give up. You have no clue on running a
WINNING
team. Stop pretending.
We didn’t ask for you and we NO LONGER want
you around.
John
must go. The fans are
waiting. They would embrace an owner who cares about winning, not the
almighty
dollar.
