Scottie Boy

    
York has given new 49er Head Coach Mike Nolan a lot of power.  Nolan has decided on his coaching staff quickly and firmly (unlike a fat man with glasses I know).  Why didn’t  York just hire Nolan as G.M. too.  It helps a team a lot if the head coach can get the players he wants instead of having to make do with the players he is given (example: ’04-’05 49ers).  Instead York hires some random guy (Scot McCloughan).  By the way, I have established the fact that the writers for 49ers.com don’t know how to type.  Look at the link to Scotties bio on the Seahawks site Seahawks site and now the 49ers site.  Look familiar?

 

Scotties bio says what he has done.  He played minor league baseball, but understanding a league with no salary cap won’t help you in a league with one.  His bio also says what great successes he has drafted.  Here’s a few of them: WR Koren Robinson, G Steve Hutchinson, CB Ken Lucas, LB Orlando Huff, T Pork Chop Womack and TE Jerramy Stevens.  Sounds like a lunch menu.  If you have heard of all of these guys, you really need to get a life.

 

When is Jed going to step in?  This would be the perfect time.  The only way the 49ers can go now is up.  There is nothing Jed could make worse.  Maybe he’ll be the Theo Epstien of the NFL…no, he’ll probably just be fat and stupid.

 

Many are wondering, What does Jed look like?  Well due to my advanced technology (you may have heard about it on Late Night with Conan O’Brien) I can predict what Jed looks like.
