No Replays of Last Season Please
Today I read that the 49ers will be installing a
new matrix board with state-of-the-art Daktronics scoreboards and video
boards, along with a new video board in the south end zone. I can
honestly say that was the last thing on my mind I expected and wanted
the 49ers to address this off-season. I know Mr. York is trying
to win some points with the fans, but shouldn't those video boards be
going into a new stadium.
Mr.
York is quoted as saying "The fans sitting in the north end zone have
never had the chance to watch replays during the game. We felt it
was important to change that. For the first time ever fans in the north
end zone will have a replay screen to watch.” As a fan the only
replay I look forward to seeing next season is, Mr. York handing over
the keys of the 49ers to a new owner.
Hopefully all 49ers fan can sleep
easily now knowing that they can watch replays on the start-of-the-art
video boards, while sitting in an old tired down stadium, while also
watching Mr. York do a state-of-the-art job of ruining a once prominent
franchise. What's next new state-of-the-art troughs in the men's
restrooms?
